Go Ask Alice

Go Ask Alice
This book is very depressing. The book makes you feel bad for the girl. It makes you want to talk some senesce into Alice. I also want to ask her questions on why she does the things she did with out consulting her parents. If I were she I would ask my parent’s questions not just go ahead and do bad things that will harm me. Alice knew what she was doing, but she just went ahead and did it anyways because she thought it felt good.
Alice was a normal girl at the beginning then she was invited to drugs at a party and that is what changed her whole life. She got addict to the drugs as soon as she got hooked on to them. She had unsafe sex while on the drugs. She loved being stoned. She feels in love with a drug dealer for a little while then she found out that he was just using her. He made her sell drug even to little kids. Then later on in the book she ran away with a friend. They promised each other they would stop but they never really did. Then she felt bad called her parents and they took her home. She felt bad for a while for doing drugs then she promised she would not do, but suddenly she got hooked on them. She said as soon as you have them there is no way of returning. At then end of the book she ends up dying.
I think that she was murder by one of the people that kept trying to get her to get back on drugs. They put the drug in her food when she was babysitting and she went crazy. I don’t think she fell into temptation again because she was very confidant at then end of the book. She had a goal. I think she was murdered. The book doesn’t really say much of her death but I think she didn’t die on purpose I was planned.

So much Unfairness of Things

The other day I read this story of a boy who felt like his world would come down on him cause he cheated. What would you do if you cheated? I would get really sad. I would not like to show my face to the people because I would be so embarrassed knowing that they know that I cheated. PS thought that everything would be alright at first but I was not.
PS is a boy who attends the Virginia Preparatory School. He is very worried about a test that he is going to take in Latin. He wastes more time bragging about the test than actually studying. This year he has to pass the test because the last year he failed it. His friend Charlie helps him study a little bit but that doesn’t work out. PS is very worried he is scared if he doesn’t pass the test his dad will be very mad. So PS goes in to class ready to take the test. He does part of his test on his own , but then cheats . He found some of the answers in his desk. He was very worried after he cheated . He wanted to turn him self in but was not sure when to do it. When he was in his room he was called to the office. There was the kid that told on him. All the teachers ask why he cheated he explains everything. They feel bad for him he get kicked out of the school. They were the rules. His dad finds out. He tells PS that he understands him. PS thought that his dad would be really mad at him, but he wasn’t. Everyone in this school was really sad that PS left. He was actually like and no one thought he would cheat. I think that because PS was expelled he and his dad and him bonded more and that’s a good thing. PS would never understand his dad if he never cheated. His dad would not understand PS and know about all the pressure. So its good that he cheated.
I think that some people cheat cause they have reasons . I also think that cheating is bad. I think that you shouldn’t cheat if it is going to hurt someone I will mostly hurt you if you are caught or not. I think that if you cheat once and get away with it you will do it again. So dont cheat.

Privacy on the Internet

I think that high schools, colleges, and schools should be able to monitor students profile. I think this because the students shouldn’t be putting mean things on the internet at all. The internet is not a private place. Everyone can see what people post. If people are posting harsh things about teachers on the internet the school should now and do something about it . Someone could get hurt if no one stops the violence on the internet.
More kids can say more things on the internet than they can say face to face. They think that by doing this no one will find out about the trash talk, but on the internet everything gets around. If they say something bad another person will read and get something different out of it. For example; I hate my teacher and I am going to kill him. When you read this what do you get out of it. If the school reads this they should contact the students parent. The school should suspend the student or tell him to not post mean things about teachers. Some students that post mean thing about their teachers sometimes end up doing what they post.
I don’t think the internet is not a private place. I think that people should not post private things that they don’t want other people to see. If the want more private they should email. Even though emails are not that private. The internet is a place where everything you post will be seen.
If a kid is bulling another kid over the internet the school or the parents should do something about it. It is wrong just to leave it alone and noting. Some kids actually get hurt or killed when noting is done. Some people are stoked over the internet. They sometimes end up getting killed by perverted people.
In my choice pick that it is correct that parents and teacher should monitor the internet all the time. So many bad things happen over the internet and no one does anything about it. The school has the right even more if the student post thing during school. Using a schools computer. If they are saying mean harsh thing about the teacher or the students. The school or parents should do something before someone gets hurt. Cause then a bigger problem is started. People start asking question. Like why did he do it. How could it happen to him. We as a community should stop violence even if is only written.
