What are your thoughts on Act 1 ?

So far I really like Romeo and Juliet. The book so far is very interesting. I didn’t expect Romeo to be in love with someone else in the beginning of the book then suddenly fall in love with Juliet. I just don’t understand that how he was madly in love with someone else then next minute with another. Juliet at first doesn’t want anyone to marry but now that she sees Romeo she kind of does. I just think that theses two main characters are kind of crazy. They don’t know what they are thinking. First of all Juliet is too young to marry or be in love and second of all Romeo is too dramatic, but that is what makes the book interesting and makes me want to read more of it. The wording from Shakespeare is difficult to read but the notes on the side help out a lot.
When I first heard of the book I thought the characters would be older and that surprised me that Juliet is only 13. Romeo age is not said in the book. I think this book is very dramatic and that’s what makes it good. The conflict with the two families is also interesting. Every time they come in to contact they want to kill each other. The book doesn’t say why they hate each other so much and why they are enemy’s so that is what is confusing. But the book is good so far.
