Why do dreams sometimes fail?

Dreams sometime fail because they aren’t always carried out correctly. Dreams also fail because not everyone can have their way. Dreams aren’t always going to come true because when they bring someone’s spirits up they bring the other person spirit down. Dreams don’t always turn out the way you plan them. In order to have something come true you have to sacrifice something else. I have had dreams but then I do something stupid and my dream never comes true. I think that we as humans so our dreams from coming true. Other things distract us and we don’t carry out our goals. With some people they are on their way to carry out their dream then something new and exciting comes by and the dream is failed. Like in the book George and Lennie are trying to carry out there dream but on their way there is problems. George might spend his money at the whore house and they is dream is failed. He will have to save up more money. Lennie dream is coming true but George will ruin it or if he gets into problems. So dreams don’t always come true.

George is the one who is being held back by Lennie. If you had read through the entire book, you would realize that Lennie's attraction to objects gets in the way. He starts feeling Curley's wife's hair and ends up killing her. This causes a set-back, and everyone wishes to kill Lennie. George can't handle seeing someone else kill Lennie, so he does so himself. George was always giving to Lennie, but if you read through the book one more time, you will realize that Lennie never thanks George. George gives up a life that he could have to save the life of Lennie and keep him from living in a cave.
